Where do I park?

Public parking is free (THANK YOU SUEDISTRACTEDDRIVER.COM)!
(Google Maps Link to Public Parking)
Shuttle service is available (Mercedes Benz Louisville), or you can enjoy a short walk to the event. Handicap parking will be provided—just let a parking attendant know upon arrival.

Is this a charity event?

Absolutely! We’re proud to support three incredible nonprofits:

Norton Children’s Hospital Foundation

Raising funds to support Kentucky’s only full-service, freestanding pediatric hospital. Proceeds fund equipment, research, and care for children regardless of their ability to pay.

The First Car Project

Provides vehicles to Kentucky foster youth aging out of care, helping them access work, education, and independence.

L.O.U. – Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered

Delivers food, supplies, and support to the unhoused community, building relationships and connecting individuals with housing and services.

Do I need to pay to attend Cars in the Commonwealth?

Spectators: No! The event is free for the public. Come enjoy the cars, live music, vendors, food, raffles, and family-friendly fun!

Show Car Participants: SOLD OUT. 
Ticket includes a red carpet car photo, a driver’s gift box, entry into awards, and surprises from sponsors. All ticket sales are final.

VIP Tickets: Sold out. VIP access includes:

  • Entry to the historic Hermitage Main House

  • Catered lunch from Barn8

  • Signature cocktail (21+), gift bag, unlimited non-alcoholic drinks

  • Air-conditioned indoor seating, bathrooms, and even a pool table. 

  • A portion of ticket sales supports our charity partners (see below).

Will it be hot in July?

Probably—it’s Kentucky!

  • VIP guests have access to the air-conditioned Main House

  • Barn8 will offer indoor seating, Hayloft access, and a special menu

  • Stud Barn will be open with shade, fans, and retired thoroughbreds

  • There’s plenty of shade around the farm, with picnic tables, hay bales, and seating areas (large area behind Main House) for relaxing
