4. Who are the Rivercity Rippers?
In a crowded world of car clubs, meets, and shows, RiverCity Rippers (RCR) set out to bring everything together in one place—and do it with purpose. Our mission is simple: fuel our passion for cars while uniting our efforts to support the charities we care about most.
RCR hosts multiple events throughout the year, including Cars in the Commonwealth (formerly Cars in the Commons), a signature community event showcasing incredible vehicles from our club and many exclusive private collections. It’s the highlight of our year—and one you won't want to miss.
But the RCR “Rippers” crew doesn’t stop there. You can find us at events across the region every month or just out doing what we love most: driving, connecting, and talking all things cars.
Join us as we build community, celebrate car culture, and make a meaningful impact along the way.
5. What is Cars in the Commonwealth?
Mark your calendars for July 25, 2026. Cars in the Commonwealth is the new name of your old favorite: Cars in the Commons. CITC is an annual celebration for car enthusiasts of all ages. Located at Hermitage Farm, we bring in just under 400 cars, 30+ sponsors and vendors, food, drinks, and music. We have a little bit of everything for everyone: Exotics, German, American, Vintage, Classic, JDM, etc but the heart of this event is CHARITY. We have a passion for cars and want to share our passion with purpose. The 2024 event brought over $42k and 2025 brought over $36k to three charities: Norton Children's Hospital Foundation, The First Car Project, & Louisville Outreach for the Unsheltered. **FAQs found HERE**
